Uruguay is hidden behind the giant two countries Argentina, and Brazil. It is the second smallest country in Latin America, and it has lot to offer.

Safe, tropical weather, colonial architecture, and history of European colonization from Portuguese attracts thousands of tourists every year to Montevideo- capital and big city of Uruguay. 


Uruguay is the only country in Latin America that has achieve quasi universal coverage of access of safe drinking water supply and adequate sanitation. Surprisingly Uruguay is the highest meat consumption country in Latin America. Capital city Montevideo is great multicultural city. World trade center Montevideo to old city has many architecture to see. Montevideo also famous for the beach near by. Colonia Del Sacramento , Punta Del Este, Punta Del Diablo, Salto are the famous destination which as great to offer. Colonia Del Sacramento will appear and reminds to its visitors that how was the living and culture back in the days. Just across the shore tourists can walk around the riverside and climb the light house. It is only two hour ferry distance from Buones aires. Punta Del Este is the famous name to become tan on the sunlight in the beach. Punta Del Diablo will give it's tranquility to it's visitors. No high rise buildings skyscrapers are seen on this area. Salto is far east of Uruguay. Nice therapeutic properties and excellent temperature can be found in hot spring called Termas Del Arapey.

Uruguay has been liberal in many terms. It is world's top ten gay friendly country in Latin America. It has Legalized consumption and production cannabis, abortion, and same sex marriage. Uruguay is considered as liberal nation in the world. The Economist mentioned most socially developed and liberal nation. It achieved high ranking in global measurement of personal rights, tolerance, and inclusion issues.
